|Recommended: YesOverall, A Nice Place To Live. — This will be the 23rd lease renewal I signed for renewal in November This is my home. This is my neighborhood. The location is key and a great plus being the convenience to several Grocery Stores, my job, Churches, Banks and Bus lines and Schools, especially if you are WALKER like me.
There is a Beautiful Park opposite the Complex and Playground for the kids and place to walk dogs.
The Courtyard has beautiful Trees, although some need cutting back especially now, I look forward to Spring and Autumn for the bloom and foliage is gorgeous colors, with a lovely Gazebo and Picnic tables and BBQ grills for Summertime fun adding to scenic beauty.
This Ownership here took over in 2012 and really went to work fixing up with much to do. We have been through several Property Managers many changes with the current Property Manager on Site being the best and most consistent so far
She has added much beauty and solutions to the grounds.
Anyone can find problems, its best to be about finding solutions, she does this
Like any Property we have seasonal times the grounds need more maintenance, basements and hallways more cleaning and honestly more Staff When fully staffed all is tended to in a timely fashion
When fully staffed with appropriate equipment needed.... for staff... all runs smoothly, the hedges are trimmed up, snow is removed, basements, laundry rooms clean etc. Again, when fully staffed There are times the dumpsters are overloaded especially on weekends and around Holidays.
My pet peeve would be residents that prop Security doors They will have many excuses- their keys don't work, or they have children coming and going or a friend staying, who does not have a key etc- but these doors have always been SECURITY DOORS and we all need to feel secure in our home
Also, when constant propping occurs, it breaks the auto return on doors and the locks too, so then keys do not work, so its counterproductive
Critters can and do get inside that can be hard to remove or do damage and the auto return's on door can't close fully or slams back too fast which can be dangerous breaking, so it matters
The mailboxes are inside Common hallways so not out in the elements.
the Heat is good in Winter. I live in an upstairs unit so heat rises, meaning I rarely have to set my thermostat above 65. We have A C Units that are covered for Winter and uncovered for Spring and Summer
The Kitchens are basic apartment size countertop and cabinet space with dishwashers.
Living in any Apartment Complex there will be changing dynamics in each building as people move in and out so there really isn't one building better than another. Sometimes your going to get noisy and not so nice neighbors and other time the best Being neighborly goes a long way here
The key to happiness here I think is constructive communication running both ways and follow up on any concerns because the office does get its busier times of the month And it seems Maintenance can be seasonally staffed at times.
The Managment's is open to residents' suggestions and concerns. If something needs fixing, speak up. It can't be fixed if staff does not know.
